SUBURBAN MAKEOVER
A complete interior gut renovation was the only way to accomplish
this client’s design program for this 1950’s ranch. RNA
began the process by designing a new ridge beam down the entire length
of the home and gutting all existing partitions, ceilings and floor
finishes. With the interior removed and a clean slate to design with,
the client and architect were able to create her vision of an appealing
investment property that would add quality and attract buyers. The
design included an elegant sun-lit kitchen with black granite countertops,
giving considerable value over a stock builder’s kitchen. In
the master suite, large skylights fill the room with sunlight and
stylish French doors lead to a private deck and elegant pool area.
The master suite includes a large Jacuzzi tub and cascading waterfall
shower. Together, the interior renovations frame a spectacular water
view of Boston.
